The 97th Hingham Historic House Tour

  For nearly a century, the Hingham Historic House Tour has been a beloved tradition, offering a rare glimpse into the town's rich past.This year, on October 1st, the town will once again open its doors to history enthusiasts, architecture aficionados, and curious visitors for the 97th Hingham Historic House Tour. From 11 am to 4 pm, participants will have the unique opportunity to step back in time and explore some of the town's most iconic and historically significant homes. 

   Five homes and historic landmarks were chosen to be showcased:

  • The Samuel Lincoln Cottage, 1640 or ca. 1740
  • Francis Overton House, 1874
  • Charles R. Cook House, 1820
  • Peter Jacob House, 1752
  • Crocker Wilder House 1801
  • Benjamin Lincoln House
  • Old Ordinary, 1686
  • Hingham Heritage Museum
