Cohasset Recreation's Summer Concert Series: A Melodious Lineup You Can't Miss!

Cohasset Recreation is thrilled to announce its popular summer concert series, featuring seven exciting performances this year. The highlight includes a special concert by former Cohasset resident and multi-talented performer, Abby Brown, on July 18. Mark your calendars and get ready to enjoy music under the stars on Cohasset Common, every Thursday at 6 p.m.

Concert Lineup

June 27: The Armstrong Brothers Band Experience the soulful blend of country rock with The Armstrong Brothers Band, proving that great country music knows no geographic boundaries.

July 11: Rusty Skippers This 45-member ensemble offers a diverse mix of musical styles, from marches and Latin rhythms to light classical, Broadway hits, jazz, rock, and vocal performances.

July 18: Abby Brown Sponsored by the D’Urso family, Abby Brown returns to her roots with a performance inspired by legends like Emmy Lou Harris, Alison Krauss, and Stevie Nicks. July 25: High Tide This five-piece cover band will take you on a musical journey from the ’60s to today’s hits. Enjoy their vibrant renditions of classic and contemporary tunes.

August 1: Bryson Lang Join Bryson Lang for an interactive comedy-juggling family show, dedicated to the memory of Jack Worley. It’s a delightful blend of humor and skill for all ages.

August 8: Southern Voice Get ready to dance with Southern Voice, a country cover band that also rocks pop, Southern rock, and dance music. Their lively performance is sure to get you on your feet.

August 15: Thirsty Boots Thirsty Boots wraps up the series with a medley of classic songs and original music, showcasing unique rhythms and styles that will captivate the audience.

Special Arrangements

The Rusty Skippers and Southern Voice concerts will be held on the flag side of the Common. In case of inclement weather, Abby Brown’s and Southern Voice’s performances will be moved indoors, with the location to be announced.

Concert Details

All performances in the summer concert series are free, open to the public, and handicapped-accessible. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for comfortable seating and to enjoy snacks from the Farmer’s Market. Concerts are subject to change, so register at Cohasset Recreation for email/text updates.
